KUALA LUMPUR: Kelantan prince Tengku Temenggong Tengku Muhammad Fakhry Sultan Ismail Petra was  awarded RM6 million in damages by the High Court this morning in the RM105 million defamation suit he brought against his estranged wife and mother-in-law.

KOTA BAHARU: The Tengku Temenggong of Kelantan, Tengku Muhammad Fakhry Petra Sultan Ismail Petra today took the "yamin istizhar" oath at the Syariah High Court here, to compel his wife Manohara Odelio Pinot to be loyal and pay back RM1,112,250 owed to him.

The oath, taken before Syarie Court Judge Mohd Yusof Awang, was to complete the court's ruling on Dec 13 which ordered Mahohara to be loyal and return the money owed to her husband.

With the oath, Manohara is now compelled to be loyal to him within 14 days and also return the money in a lump sum within 30 days.

TEENAGE princess Manohara Odelia Pinot is crushed. Her claims of being sexually and physically ravaged by her Kelantan prince husband have turned out to be a stardust-sprinkled illusion.

The twitchily restless 17-year old received more bad news yesterday when the High Court ruled that she and her fugitive mother Daisy Fajarina would have to pay Tengku Temenggong Kelantan Tengku Muhammad Fakhry for defaming him.

They failed to prove their allegations against Tengku Fakhry, 31, by not attending court and engaging new lawyers in his RM105 million defamation suit.

ALLEGATIONS of sexual and physical abuse by Princess Manohara Odelia and her mother Daisy Fajarina against her husband Tengku Temenggong Kelantan Tengku Muhammad Fakhry have been deemed “hearsay” by her lawyer.

Lawyer Fakrul Rizal Abdul Manaf has also disclosed that the controversial mother and daughter would not be coming back here to substantiate their claims.

POLICE are investigating a report that one of the three solicitors who appeared for Cik Puan Temenggong Kelantan Manohara Odelia in the Kelantan Syariah Court last Sunday is a not a lawyer.

A report lodged by Tuan Syaiful Hadi Tuan Wel yesterday at Kubang Kerian police station alleged that the man is neither a civil nor a syariah lawyer.

SHALIHA, the abused adopted sister of the Cik Puan Temenggong Kelantan Manohara Odelia, returned to Indonesia yesterday after more than 10 years to bring their mother Daisy Fajarina to justice.

 

Indonesian Shaliha, 25, was expected to make a police report against Daisy, 44, in Jakarta today for exploiting her and enduring her to slave-like conditions since the age of 15.
