SUBANG JAYA: Bus commuters are singing praises of the new service provided by RapidKL.

The subsidiary of Syarikat Prasarana Negara Bhd (Prasarana) officially launched its new service called Rapid Bus Express Transit (RapidBET) at 6.15am today at Subang Mewah (RapidBET3) and Taman Sri Muda (RapidBET4).

Three regular users from Subang Jaya said they were looking forward to experience hassle-free journeys to their destination.

Sujaysni Suparmani, 26, said: "I'm really psyched to try the new service. I hope with RapidBET, I will get to my destination on time."

Another frequent bus-user, Sarajo Sri Ajrsan, 52, from USJ8, said: "This is very convenient for us. I also hope  RapidKL will be consistent in delivering the best to public transport users."

Sebtuiah Abang Jais, 41, said the convenience offered by RapidBET "can help users avoid time-wasting".

RapidBET3 and RapidBET4, which heads to Pasar Seni, will operate on 15-minute intervals from 6.15am during  morning peak hours and 30-minute intervals from 5.30pm during evening peak hours.

RapidBET3 is an addition to the current U63 USJ 8 to the Pasar Seni route, extended to Subang Mewah. With RapidBET3, travel time is reduced by 30 minutes from the normal 80 minutes with seven pick-up and dropoff points compared with the usual 21.

RapidBET4 is a boost to the current U64 route from Taman Sri Muda, Shah Alam, to Pasar Seni. It will reduce travel time by 20 minutes from the usual 90 minutes. Pick-up and dropoff points are limited to six, compared with its regular 30.

Comments

Rapid KL bus service has still got a long way to go to achieve every klites use the public transport. The buses are getting in a very bad condition. I also discover certain bus drivers only show placard name on the bus. Why the double standard rapid kl? Mr. CEO please go down the ground and see for yourself.

New broom sweep well let see after the run. You will have bus not turning up. This is the trick the bus driver will do after some time back to square 1.
