STRANGELY enough, there are many of us who would actually turn away free samples.

But, if you're primed to look out for such free offers, it's possible to end up saving more than you're willing to spend on your weekly groceries.

Firms like giving out free samples because it gets people to try out a new product or brand. If the consumer likes the sample, chances are high that the product will be bought the next time a consumer sees it.

These houses have been unoccupied for quite a while and he is concerned  they could be turned into
commercial lots. Some of them are in a really poor shape, with no doors and badly damaged roofs.

"Recently, I signed up with Maxis on its new iValue plan for 24 months at one of the service centres.

CHRIS was also told that if his monthly call charge total is less than the committed amount, he would still have to pay RM250, which CHRIS found was reasonable.

MANY of us would rarely buy a new mattress unless there's a push factor — usually if the old one is getting dirty or there's just not enough support any more.

While there's really no other option in the latter case, a rather unique home-based service in Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya could just help let you keep your favourite mattresses a little longer.

Deputy general manager Md Nasir Md Arshad indicated that more properties may be added if the demand outstrips supply as PKNS has also drawn up plans for a similar sales campaign later this year.

ALL of us carry around some hidden nuggets of cash in our wallets – they are called points collected with loyalty cards.

These points can be turned into cash vouchers or various other products on offer — if only most of us bother to redeem these points.

Truth is about one-third of all points collected in various cards just end up wasted because the cardholder fails to redeem them before they expire.

THERE are some hidden costs that some of us keep incurring every month, which could otherwise put more cash in your wallet — if only we took the time to review just what we’re spending on blindly.

On its own, the amount may not be much — but they really add up over the months or even weeks. A typical example of such an expense are free trials to various subscriptions, that could end up costing a bomb if you’re not alert.
